Job Title: Director of E-Commerce

Role Summary:
The Director of E-Commerce is tasked with spearheading the growth and merchandising strategy for the organization, driving sales objectives through innovative online channels. This position involves the development, implementation, and execution of data-driven strategies, marketing initiatives, and the enhancement of a customer-centric online shopping experience.
Role Description:
  • Directly responsible for achieving topline sales targets and overseeing the growth of the online business.
  • Manages and oversees the e-commerce business presence, serving as the category expert to contribute to the overall business plan and strategic direction.
  • Strives for a deep understanding of customer behavior, leveraging actionable insights to inform marketing strategies and site improvements.
  • Monitors key sales drivers, including traffic, average order value, and conversion rates, ensuring alignment with topline sales plans.
  • Conducts data analysis and market research to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Ensures continuous monitoring of customer activity, market channel data, and operational data for insightful analysis.
  • Collaborates closely with team leaders to enhance the company website and strengthen competitive positioning.
Key Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, category management, site merchandising, and/or digital marketing.
  • Demonstrated experience (2+ years) in managing a team.
  • Industry experience in apparel is essential.
  • Ability to lead and develop future team leaders.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, effective communication, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe Analytics, with a capacity to swiftly learn new systems.
