About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex customer-facing implementations, laboratory relocations, and operational transition projects. You will drive projects end-to-end, ensuring seamless execution, customer satisfaction, and compliance with quality and safety standards.
This role is perfect for a candidate with a hands-on, collaborative mindset, strong operational skills, and a background in life sciences, labs, R&D, or manufacturing environments.
What Youβll Do
- Lead service implementations, lab/production relocations, and operational projects from planning through execution.
- Develop project plans, timelines, resource schedules, and risk assessments.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Lab Services, Supply Chain, Operations, EHS, Facilities, IT, and external vendors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers during project lifecycles.
- Manage logistics: equipment moves, lab setups, material transfers, and vendor alignment.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, GxP, and quality standards.
- Deliver project documentation: status reports, dashboards, budgets, and post-project summaries.
- Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
Who You Are
- Bachelorβs degree or equivalent (PMP preferred)
- 1β3+ years of project management experience in lab, life sciences, or manufacturing environments
- Strong knowledge of project management methodology, scope definition, risk management, and resource coordination
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage customer relationships
- Skilled in Smartsheet or similar PM software
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- Willing to travel up to 75% domestically during peak project phases
