Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using the Recruits Lab website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Services

Recruits Lab provides recruiting and talent acquisition services for Life Sciences and Technology companies. Our services include:

• Embedded Recruiting — a dedicated recruiting team embedded inside your company at fixed monthly pricing
• Subscription Recruiting — dedicated monthly recruiting support
• Retained Search — executive and mission-critical search execution
• Contingency Search — success-based placement with a fee due only on hire
• Candidate sourcing, screening, and interview coordination

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

• Provide accurate job descriptions and requirements
• Respond to candidate submissions in a timely manner
• Pay all fees as outlined in your service agreement
• Not directly contact candidates sourced by Recruits Lab outside of our process

4. Payment Terms

Monthly Subscription: Billed monthly at a flat rate for dedicated recruiting services. Payment is due within 15 days of invoice.

Contingent Placements: A placement fee, as set out in your signed service agreement, is due upon successful placement, payable within 30 days of the candidate's start date.

5. Guarantee

We offer a 90-day guarantee on all placements. If a placed candidate leaves or is terminated within 90 days of their start date, we will replace the candidate at no additional charge.

6. Confidentiality

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information shared during the course of our engagement. This includes candidate information, compensation data, and business strategies.

7. Limitation of Liability

Recruits Lab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate subscription-based services with 7 days written notice. Contingent search engagements may be terminated at any time, but fees remain due for any placements made.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.

11. SMS Terms and Conditions

Program Description: Recruits Lab sends SMS messages to job seekers regarding application updates, interview scheduling, job alerts, and follow-up hiring questions.

Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on user activity and hiring needs.

Costs: Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you.

Opt-Out: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text 'STOP' to our number. After you send the SMS message 'STOP' to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.
